Founded in January 2014 by Lereca Monik, LM Consulting began with a vision: to help organizations strengthen their capacity, connect resources, and advance meaningful social change.
What began as a boutique philanthropic consulting practice has evolved into a full-service development and organizational consulting firm, supporting leaders and organizations through every stage of growth and transformation.
We have worked with organizations ranging from startups bringing ideas sketched on paper napkins to life to established institutions managing budgets exceeding $550 million.
Across every stage, one theme remains true: People are the strategy.
Over the years, we have helped organizations secure millions of dollars in philanthropic investments, cultivate strategic partnerships, strengthen organizational infrastructure, and build sustainable pathways for growth. Our experience spans education, youth development, workforce development, disaster response, and community transformation.

Lereca Monik, Principal Consultant
I’m Lereca Monik, Principal Consultant at Lereca Monik Consulting. My career brings together nearly 20 years of nonprofit leadership, fundraising, external affairs, and marketing and communications, alongside experience in pageantry, acting, national brand commercials, and women’s ministry. Across those experiences, a common thread has been helping people and organizations communicate their value, build relationships, and move toward meaningful goals.
Today, I’m focusing my work under Lereca Monik Consulting, with The AGAPE Advantage as the framework connecting my offerings. My philosophy: People are the strategy. Love is the leadership advantage.
How We Bring That Belief to Life: Through three interconnected offerings, we help organizations and individuals build capacity, recognize potential, and move forward with intention.
Consulting and fractional leadership: Through LEAD, I help nonprofits strengthen fundraising strategy, development operations, partnerships, and leadership capacity. Clients hire me for defined projects or ongoing advisory and implementation support.
Coaching and women’s development: Through I BE SHE, I offer individual coaching and facilitated experiences that help women recognize their value, strengthen their voice, and take practical steps toward personal and professional growth.
Speaking, workshops, and facilitation: Organizations and women’s ministries hire me to lead conversations and learning experiences on leadership, workplace culture, women’s advancement, faith, and philanthropic growth.
